Unveiling the Terror: Herman’s Dark Tale Unfolds

Prepare to be chilled to the bone! The trailer for Herman promises a descent into psychological horror, where isolation and a mysterious darkness collide. Get ready, because this gripping thriller is set to hit VOD on December 2nd courtesy of Scatena & Rosner Films.

Imagine this: a solitary survivalist, holed up in a remote mountain cabin, wrestling with an unseen, menacing force. He’s on the edge, ready to surrender, when a knock at the door reignites his fight for survival. But here’s where it gets controversial… as the relentless winter storm rages on, the arrival of enigmatic guests throws his sanity into a chaotic spiral. Herman forces him to confront the darkness within before it completely devours him.

This indie film marks the feature directorial debut of Andrew Vogel, who also penned the script. And this is the part most people miss… Colin Ward, known for his role in Mother’s Boys, takes on the title role, joined by Lawson Greyson from V/H/S/Halloween, Soni Theresa Montgomery, and Alex James.

“This film has been an incredible journey, and I’m honored to have collaborated with so many talented and skilled artists,” Vogel shared. “I am beyond thrilled that our independent film has found its home with S&R Films.”

Adding to the excitement, Gato Scatena, Managing Director of S&R Films, stated, “Herman is a bold and provocative debut that instantly stood out to us. Andrew Vogel’s vision is both unnerving and deeply human, and we’re proud to partner with this extraordinary creative team to bring the film to audiences across North America.”

The film is produced by Suzann Toni Petrongolo & Andrew Vogel of VP Independent and Heliya Alam of LBM Pictures.
